So, we haven't used this blog in awhile, Facebook is still the best to follow our most recent happenings, but we are getting the word out every way we can that we are donating family portrait sessions to 20 families who lost their photos in any of the recent wildfires destroying so many places in Colorado. Here is the press release that went out today: ZORN PHOTOGRAPHY HELPS COLORADO WILDFIRE VICTIMS REBUILD MEMORIES WITH PHOTO SHOOT DONATION PACKAGE PROGRAM Local Photographers to Donate Twenty 30-minute Family Photo Packages to Help Wildfire Victims Build New Memories (June 25, 2013 – Denver, CO) Award winning wedding, editorial and commercial photographers Jody and Zach Zorn (Zorn Photography) have announced a donation program to help victims of the Colorado Wildfires. Winners will be treated to a 30-minute photo shoot with Jody and Zach at Castle Cliff Estates, styling touch ups from Matthew Morris Salon, a complimentary photo CD from Zorn Photography, and a $40 coupon for custom framing from FastFrame of Lodo. To qualify for the random drawing, email wildfire@zornphoto.com with the following information: Name: Email: Phone: Former Address: (in fire region) # of immediate family members: # of pets: Applications will be accepted through August 1, 2013. Winners will randomly selected, and notified by August 15, 2013. Photo shoots will be scheduled for two dates in late August/early September, TBD. “Just thinking of how many people lost irreplaceable things like photos, wedding dresses, baby’s first shoes – everything – hurt our hearts,” said Jody Zorn of Zorn Photography. “Most people say the first thing would grab in a fire would be their photos - but we know in this case so many people didn't enough time. Zach and I decided this was a great way to give back, by helping some of the victims create new photographic memories.” CALL FOR ACTION: Zorn Photography is seeking gift card donations from beauty, apparel (adult & child) home goods & grocery retailers to present the families on photo shoot day. Interested businesses, please email bfdonations@zornphoto.com.
